Joy Coyne
Joy, Vice President of the Board of Directors, has worked for child placing agencies providing treatment foster care for over 25 years and has worked in a variety of roles from case manager/social worker to executive director. Joy holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has served on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Association of Family and Children’s Agencies (WAFCA), and has been the Chairperson for the Wisconsin Chapter of the national Foster Family-based Treatment Association (FFTA). She is currently a member of the Dane County Developmental Disability Coalition and the Dane County Supported Living Coalition. When not at work, Joy likes to read, craft, hike, horseback ride, camp, and spend time with family.
Dave Coyne
Board President, Dave, has run businesses both large and small. For the past 20 years, he has operated a construction/remodeling general contractor business. He is licensed by the Department of Health Services as a Lead Abatement Specialist and Asbestos Abatement Specialist; he has worked closely with Project Home and the Southwest Community Action Program (SWCAP) removing lead and asbestos hazards in homes throughout Dane, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Sauk, and Columbia counties. Dave has also developed a specialty in modifying homes for accessibility; which has been a great asset to creating the ideal setting for each person. His pastimes include hunting, horseback riding, camping, cooking, singing, and playing the guitar.
